There’s no sugarcoating it - 2022 was a uniquely poor year for returns, with virtually all major stock, bond, and real estate indices down (as summarized on the pages to follow).
While no one knows for sure what 2023 has in store, there are plenty of reasons for long-term investors to be optimistic about the future.
